Our Wedding Invites

Preparing our invites is not a simple task too. Especially when it involves all the tedious chinese characters and formal wordings. There are so many rules involved with the formal Chinese invites. Furthermore, we are not using the hotel's invites and as those who know, beeie's parents are divorced.. So we really have to take note of every sensitive details when preparing it.

Fortunately, beeie found a really helpful guide online that taught us regarding all the formal invites as well as the other customary stuff. This eases us alot.

The site is so informative and it includes all areas of a Chinese customary wedding that even my parents did not know some of it! I think all those very traditional couples should refer to it for help. Okok I know you are asking. The site is www.chinese-wedding-guide.com

Oh, and our 'cos our theme is red and black, we wanted our invites to be in black but of course being traditional Chinese, how can a wedding card be in black right? Therefore, we had two colours and the other was in beige for the relatives.

Yap, here it is..

Yap, that's from beeie's computer. It's in PDF format so I'm not able to attach. Furthermore, I think he threw away all the unused invites and now I only have the black soft copy.. Ggrr.. Anyway, that's the invites for now. Will update the rest later on.

Managed to find the beige one!!

Which 1 is nicer?
